Profiles and verification
Are the profiles on MatureMeet real?
Yes. Every member takes a selfie that we match to their profile photos and confirms a phone number before they can send a message. New photos are also checked against known scam pictures. Profiles that fail the checks or are reported for fake behavior are removed.
What does the ID badge mean?
Members can choose to add a photo ID check on top of the selfie and phone check. When it passes, an ID badge shows on their profile. You can filter your matches to show ID-verified members only.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 35 or older to have a profile. MatureMeet is made for singles from 40 to 80, and age filters start at 40 by default.
Who is MatureMeet for?
Divorced, widowed and single adults over 40 and 50 who want a real relationship, marriage, companionship or a friendship that could grow. It is not a hookup site.
Safety and scams
Will I get scammed on MatureMeet?
We work hard so you do not. The scam shield checks messages for requests for money, gift cards or crypto, pressure to move to another app, urgent emergencies and stories about oil rigs or army postings. You see a warning before you reply. You can report anyone with one tap.
What should I do if someone asks me for money?
Stop replying, do not send anything, and tap Report. Nobody you meet on a dating site has a good reason to ask you for money, gift cards or crypto. Read our online dating safety tips for more.
How fast do you act on a report?
We review every report. If you are on VIP Concierge, a report you make is reviewed within 2 hours.
Can I block someone?
Yes. Blocking takes one tap. The person can no longer see your profile or message you.
Privacy
Will my ex, my colleagues or my kids see me?
Only logged-in members can see profiles, and profiles are hidden from search engines. With incognito mode, only people you like can see you. You can block anyone.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
Plans and billing
Is MatureMeet free?
No. You can run one free match preview before you join. Membership is paid because paid members are serious members.
How much does it cost?
Premium is $39 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly at $228. VIP Concierge is $149 a month, or $74 a month billed yearly at $888. See mature dating site pricing.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time in Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I buy a membership for my mother or father?
Yes. You can gift Premium or VIP Concierge to their email address. The account belongs to them.
Using MatureMeet
I am not good with technology. Can I still use it?
Yes. MatureMeet uses large text, clear buttons and simple steps. Voice notes let you talk instead of typing.
Do I need to install anything?
No. MatureMeet works in the web browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Just go to maturemeet.com and log in.
Is there anyone near me?
Run the match preview with your city or ZIP code before you pay. It shows how your matches look in your area.
Which countries do you cover?
MatureMeet is open to members in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
What does the concierge actually do?
Your concierge holds an intake call by video or phone, reviews your profile and photos, hand-picks up to 4 introductions a month with a written reason for each, and helps plan the date. Learn more about our matchmaking service for over 50.
