Refund Policy

In effect from October 14, 2026. This page explains what happens to the money you pay for a MatureMeet plan. In short, payments are final once a period has started, you can switch off renewal in Billing whenever you like, and we return a payment only in the three situations described below. This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Questions go to support@maturemeet.com.

Why payments are final

Premium and VIP Concierge are subscriptions, paid monthly or yearly in advance. A payment opens your plan for the whole period straight away: messaging verified members, seeing who likes you, and on VIP Concierge your concierge, hand-picked introductions and date planning. The price is the same whether you sent one message that month or a hundred, because you pay for the time your plan is open, not for how much you use it.

When you subscribe, you ask us to start your plan right away and you accept that any legal cooling-off period ends once it has started.

Cancelling and renewal

Plans renew automatically. You can cancel at any time in Billing, and you do not need to write to us. Nothing more is charged after that, and your plan stays open until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give money back for the days that are left, or when you move to a lower plan.

Cancelling only affects the future. If a renewal has already been charged, it stays charged and you keep that period. If a renewal payment does not go through, it is still owed for a period that has begun, so your card is tried again over the next few days. Those tries collect one unpaid bill and are not extra charges, and a renewal paid after them is not refunded. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the date shown in Billing.

What we do not refund

  • You met someone, decided to take a break from dating, or no longer want the plan.
  • You did not log in, or wrote few messages, during a paid period.
  • You did not get the matches, replies or dates you hoped for. Nobody can promise a match or a relationship.
  • Concierge introductions you did not use. They do not carry over and are not paid back.
  • Fees for events or trips, which are paid to the organizer and follow the organizer's terms.
  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal, or cancelling just after one.
  • Thinking the plan was a single payment. Every plan renews, as the pricing page, checkout, confirmation email and Billing all say.
  • A feature that is not described on the pricing page, or one that works differently from what you expected.
  • Choosing the wrong plan or billing period, or buying a gift membership the recipient did not use.
  • Your account being limited or removed because you broke our terms.

When we do return a payment

We return a payment only in these situations, only when our records support it, and never more than you paid for the period concerned.

  • You were charged twice. A billing error on our side took two payments for the same period.
  • A payment you did not make. Someone used your card without your permission, you tell us within 14 days of the charge, and our records and our payment operator's records confirm it. Saying so is not enough on its own, and we may ask you to confirm that you told your card issuer.
  • The service stopped working for you completely. A confirmed fault on our side left MatureMeet completely unusable for an unbroken period, you told us about it at the time, and we could not fix it, or we closed your account for a reason other than a breach of our terms. Slow pages, a short interruption and problems with your own phone, computer or connection do not count.

Any money we return goes back to the card you paid with. It settles everything we owe for that charge, and it does not give you a right to another return later.

How to ask

Email support@maturemeet.com from the address on your account within 14 days of the charge. Tell us the date, the amount and which of the situations above applies. We do not review requests that come later or by another route, and we do not reopen requests we have declined.

What we keep on record

When you create an account, you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which include this policy. Before you pay, the checkout shows the plan, the price, how often it renews and that it renews automatically. Your confirmation email and Billing repeat this.

For each plan we keep the time you bought it, the plan and price shown, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent you about it, and a log of activity on your account, such as sign-ins, profile changes and messages sent, with the technical details saved next to each entry. Our payment operator keeps its own record of every charge, including the country where your card was issued, where the payment was made from and the result of bank checks such as 3D Secure. We check claims of a payment you did not make against these records.

If you dispute a charge with your bank

Please write to us before you contact your bank. Opening a chargeback without contacting us first breaks our terms, and the account is then closed for good. If a dispute is opened, we send the records described above to your card issuer.

Plans bought before this policy

Plans bought before October 14, 2026 keep the terms that applied on the day you bought them.
