How verification works on MatureMeet

Selfie check.
You take a short live selfie in your browser. We check that it is a live person, not a photo of a photo, and that it matches your profile pictures.

Phone check.
You confirm a mobile number with a text code. One number, one account.

ID badge, optional.
You can add a photo ID check. When it passes, an ID badge shows on your profile.

Reverse image check.
Every new profile photo is compared with known scam pictures and other accounts.

Ongoing checks.
We may ask a member to verify again, for example after a report or a big change of photos.
Only members who pass the selfie and phone checks can send messages.

You can filter your matches to show ID-verified members only.
Your privacy during verification
We use your selfie only to check that you are real and that your photos are you. We keep the result of the check, and we delete the selfie and face data within 30 days. ID photos are deleted within 30 days of the check. We never show your selfie, your phone number or your ID to other members, and we never sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.

Verification keeps out most fake accounts, but a real person can still behave badly. That is why MatureMeet also has:
